Air Fried BBQ Chicken

I love bbq chicken and summer is the perfect time to enjoy it. Typically, I make grilled or oven baked chicken, but I decided to use my air fryer. See...my kitchen gadgets get good use!

I tried a new recipe that came in the Cosori cook book I received when I purchased the air fryer. I didn't know what to expect, considering my go-to recipe varies from Cosori's. I also had to make it low carb friendly. I replaced brown sugar with golden monk fruit sweetener and I used the G. Hughes sugar free bbq sauce for the first time. I've been eyeing it for a while and finally took the plunge and purchased it a few weeks ago. What a GAME CHANGER! The sauce has so much flavor, no funny aftertaste, and it paired well with the chicken. This will definitely be on my grocery list for my next Wegmans run.

Overall, I enjoyed this chicken recipe. The chicken was flavorful and tender. Using the air fryer reduced my cook time, but still gave me the taste that I love. Check out my Cosori Air Fryer first impressions video and the recipe for popcorn shrimp.
